One Clear Subject
A face, a pet or a single object. When the eye has one place to land, the numbered grid knows what to protect and what to simplify.
Sharp Focus and Even Light
Motion blur cannot be recovered. Open shade or window light produces the even tones that convert into colour zones, while hard sun creates shadows the grid cannot resolve.
A Simple Background
A plain wall, sky or foliage. Busy backgrounds compete with the subject for colour zones, and the canvas ends up with detail everywhere and clarity nowhere.
Choose the Size
30x40 cm
A single simple subject, a pet head or a logo. Faces lose their features at this size, so it suits shapes rather than portraits.
40x50 cm
The practical minimum for a face, with one person filling at least a third of the frame.
50x60 cm
Two people, a full-body portrait, or a pet with visible fur detail. This is the most ordered custom size.
60x80 cm and Above
Group photos of three or four people, or a scene where the background matters. These need a wall position planned in advance.
Preparing the File
Crop and Exposure
Crop tight to the subject and fix the exposure before uploading rather than after conversion. A dark photo converts into a canvas where half the zones are near-black.
Resolution and Filters
A file of at least 1,500 pixels on the long edge is the practical minimum. Heavy filters flatten the tones the converter needs, so use the original file.
Preview and Production
What the Preview Shows
The converted design, before production. This is the point to catch a bad crop, a lost detail or two faces that are too small. Request one revision if the crop is wrong, then approve.
What It Cannot Fix
A blurry original, a subject too small in the frame, or two people at different distances. Those need a different photo rather than a revision.

Pet Portraits
The most ordered custom subject. A head-and-shoulders crop at 40x50 cm works better than a full-body shot at the same size, and the stock animal kits cover the cases where the breed matters more than the individual animal.
Family Photos
Three or four people need 60x80 cm to keep every face readable. A tighter crop of two people at 50x60 cm usually produces a better piece. A finished custom canvas also works as a family gift.
Houses and Cars
Architecture converts well because the lines are straight. A car reads better from a three-quarter angle than a flat side view.
